Using the Lotus Administrator client, open your server. Then, go to Server - Status - Database Users. That view will show you who is connecting to your Domino server, using the Notes client, and the IP Address they are using.
If you are troubleshooting a mail issue, using the Administrator Client, simply open the Messaging Tab - Mail and you will see your mail boxes. If the message is dead, it will appear in the view. Open the message, and it will show you who sent it. If not, the Document Properties of the message will (the "From" field).
